Fledgling and Nestling Song Birds

We get many calls and messages in the spring and summer months concerning young Song Birds.

The most common species we are contacted about are; Blackbirds, Sparrows, Great tits, Blue tits, Starlings and Robins. Familiarising yourself with how these species look when they are young can help with identifying what they are and what is ”normal” behaviour.
